ALUMINUM L-BRACKET
The goal of this project was to create a bracket from an engineering drawing with appropriate tolerances so that it would fit within a gauge block. To create this piece, the horizontal and vertical bandsaws, drill press and belt sander were used.

SANDCAST SPUR GEAR
The goal of this project was to sand cast an engraved spur gear from a bismuth-tin alloy. Using a laser cut pattern, I created the mold and added sprues, finishing it with filing.

SHEET METAL BOX
This project was to practice using jump shears, hole punches, rivets, english wheel and bead roller, and sheet metal bending tools. performed in pairs, our first box (left) had warped walls and inconsistencies due to our corner cuts, so we opted to redo the project (right), with much greater success.

ACRYLIC PHONE STAND
The goal of this project was to create a phone stand using the strip heater and heat gun.

INJECTION MOLDED DOG BONE
The goal of this project was to use a table-top injection molder to produce dog-bone samples compatible with a 68TM-50 Instron machine.

3D PRINTED MOTOR MOUNT
The goal of this project was to create a motor mount to wind a string using a motor. To achieve this, a close tolerance was needed around the motor post. I created a simple spool design in OnShape that was able to lift 3kg attached to a 50RPM motor.
